Vero Beach Theatre Guild

VBTG will be holding auditions for A Chorus Line, May 5, 7, 8 starting at 6PM each night with a dance call starting around 8PM.

This show requires a cast comprised of triple threats, Good singers who move or dance well, good dancers who sing well and all should have the acting ability to bring these 19 very different people to life. Looking for those that are equally strong dancers, singers, and actors. Due to the nature of A Chorus Line’s story, for those auditioning with less dance training, demonstrating an ability to learn and perform choreography at the audition will be important. NOTE: All roles dance in this production!

Please prepare a cut of music that is 90 seconds or less from a song of your choosing. It may be from the show, in the style of the show (1970s contemporary Broadway), or something you feel best showcases your capabilities as a singer.

?You may bring a karaoke track that you feel comfortable with to accompany you; YouTube works fine. We will have a speaker that is Bluetooth enabled.

?We will have an accompanist available for the first hour of open auditions on May 5 & 7. Please come during this period if you have sheet music instead of a karaoke track.

Please come prepared in clothes and shoes that you are comfortable dancing in for the dance call.

Age Requirement: Open to Ages 16 to 50, Actors of all ethnicities and gender identities are encouraged to audition and all roles are available.
