Requirements:

• completed singing studies

• confident command and perfect understanding of German

• ensemble experience desirable

• solid acting skills

Audition repertoire:

• solo

*Mozart: O, wie will ich triumphieren (Die Entführung aus dem Serail)

*Mozart: In diesen heil’gen Hallen (Die Zauberflöte)

*2 additional arias or Lieder of free choice

• chorus excerpts (preferably by heart):

* Beethoven: O welche Lust, 2. Bass (Fidelio)

* Bizet: 'Les voici! la quadrille' until 'une autre quadrille s’avance' (Carmen)

* Beethoven: from 'Ihr stürzt nieder…' to end of the Fugue, bars 630–730 (9th Symphony)

* Verdi: Di Madride noi siam mattadori (La traviata)
