NDR Vokalensemble

Contract: temporary, per project

Requirements:

• a completed singing degree or comparable qualification

• Experience as a choir/ensemble member and as a soloist

• confident sight-singing

• a stylistically confident handling of repertoire from early music to contemporary works

• accent-free command of German when singing

• Good written and spoken German

• English skills

Audition repertoire:

Compulsory pieces:

1.) Mozart: Ach, ich fühl’s (Die Zauberflöte)

2.) Mozart: Exsultate, jubilate (the whole Cantata)

3.) Schubert: Du bis die Ruh

Please bring the sheet music (copies) in duplicate.

Choral excerpts:

1.) Schönberg: Friede auf Erden, bars 32-89

2.) Händel: And he shall purify (Messiah)

- Sight-singing
