Playhouse on the Square

Playhouse on the Square is casting for MAY WE ALL, a new musical with an authentic Country score! MAY WE ALL is developed and produced by Playhouse on the Square and Lively McCabe Entertainment (in collaboration with CuzBro Production Company), and directed by New York guest director, Shelley Butler.

Rehearsals for MAY WE ALL will begin on December 7, 2021 and the show will run from January 21st – February 20th, 2022.

We are looking to cast strong, contemporary Country voices. Folks of ALL ethnicities, races, and genders are welcomed and encouraged to audition.

Seeking:

1 Male Singer/Actor, Age 20s

1 Female Singer/Actor, Ages 20s

1 Male Character Singer/Actor, Ages 40/50s

1 Female Character Singer/Actor, Ages 30s+

A diverse ensemble made up of a range of voices, ages and genders

*Please note all other roles have been filled with the show’s original cast.

Live recorded Auditions will take place on Sunday November 14.

To Book Your LIVE Audition: Please contact Courtney Oliver at courtney@playhouseonthesquare.org to set up your appointment. Please indicate your preferred time if you have one. If not, a time will be assigned to you. For your safety and time management, auditions are by appointment in ten-minute increments. Live auditions will be recorded.

What to Prepare: POTS will provide sides and a cut of a song to prepare. Sides do not need to be memorized. Please also come prepared to sing 32 bars of a country song of your choice.

Safety: Playhouse on the Square is following all COVID protocols recommended by the CDC. Auditions will be safely distanced and with masks, however we do perform without masks. ALL Playhouse Staff, Casts, and Crew Members are required to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in our production.
