The Rose Theater

The Rose is holding auditions for roles in its 2022 production of “The Sound of Music”.

Actors of all ages (Age 8+) and types are welcome to audition. Black, Indigenous, and People of Color are wanted for lead roles.

Please prepare 16 bars from a song of your choice OR you may also use the provided cutting from “Favorite Things.” Sheet music and track can be found in the registration form. For in-person auditions there will also be a dance call where you will learn a combo from our resident choreographer.

Auditions will be held in person on Monday, November 8th from 5:30-9:00pm. We are also accepting video submissions (see details below). Call backs will take place on Wednesday, November 10th from 5:30-10:00pm. Callbacks will only be available in-person. Those who submitted a video audition will be asked to attend callbacks in person at The Rose downtown.
