The association MusikTheater-Brandenburg e.V. casts in the context of the anniversary "20 years of summer comedy in the Oderbruch 2022".

As part of the "20th Summer Comedy in the Oderbruch", the musical will be performed in a small, intimate chamber musical version with orchestral half-playbacks at the Hof-Theater Bad Freienwalde. Planned are 23 performances en-suite.

Mme. Dindon + (various ensemble roles) wife of the politician and moralist Edouard Dindon and mother of Anne, slightly corpulent, enterprising and actually cheerful, is kept short by her husband therefore strictly conservative. Excellent comedienne/ dancer/ musical singer (high heels effortlessly) Broadway-Belt/ playing age 45 years.

Jaqueline + (various ensemble roles) owner of posh restaurant and best friend of Albin. Lady with grandeza and sex appeal. Fashionable and extravagant with French accent. Excellent comedienne/ dancer/ musical singer (high heels effortless) Broadway-Belt/ playing age 45 years.

Chantal + (div. Ensemble- roles) dazzling figure and voice wonder in the ensemble of the Drag- Club. Excellent dancer/ musical singer (high heels effortless) tap dance, high tenor Broadway belt + head voice/ coloratura soprano/ 25-35 years old

Mercedes + (various ensemble roles) dazzling figure in the ensemble of the Drag Club. Excellent dancer/ musical singer (high heels effortless) tap dance, tenor Broadway-Belt/ 25-35 years

Phaedra + (various ensemble roles) dazzling figure and oracle in the ensemble of the Drag Club. Excellent dancer/ musical singer (High Heels effortless) tap dance, tenor Broadway-Belt/ 25-35 years

Pre-requisites:

- completed training/ studies in musical, dance, acting

- if possible experienced colleagues with appropriate experience

- Engagements/ participation as dancer/ performer in other productions of the musical "La Cage aux Folles" are an advantage (very short rehearsal time!)

Residence Berlin

(Rehearsals partly in Berlin: from June 2022)

Off-theater fee by agreement.

Travel and accommodation costs at the venue for rehearsals and performances will be covered.

For the rehearsal time in Berlin no expenses/ costs will be covered.

Please apply only if you live in Berlin.

For the audition please prepare two musical songs in the style of the play or from the play. For appropriate roles, of course, prepare the songs of the character in the play.

For the dance audition, please bring high heels or high character shoes and tap shoes.

Only applicants who meet the high musical standards and age requirements will be invited.
