Cimarron Youth Opera Theatre Camp

This year Cimarron Opera Theatre Camp presents Gilbert and Sullivan’s Ruddigore!

Camp dates: June 5th-24th Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

On June 23rd and 24th camp will begin at noon for the performances

Performances: June 23rd and 24th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm

Location: June 5th-16th will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Norman

June 19th-24th will take place at a TBA Norman Performance Venue

Camp tuition is $500 for one camper. For each additional camper tuition is $400. Both partial and full need-based scholarships are available.

All Campers, Staff and Crew for Cimarron’s camp must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and are highly encouraged to get an updated booster dose. Additional covid safety measures will be announced as we approach the camp to ensure the safety of all participating.

For the audition, prepare one piece in English. Campers may be asked to read part of a scene during their audition. If campers do not have a piece prepared they are welcome to sing any song they know such as Happy Birthday or a hymn. Auditions are for our staff to hear where each camper is skill wise. Roles are not cast until the first week of camp.
