The Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk is looking for a Low Bass for its choir (Artistic Director Philipp Ahmann) who would like to take on diverse artistic challenges with passion and commitment. The position is full-time, indefinite, initially within the framework of a trial employment relationship (typically one year).

With a total of about 150 concerts per year, numerous radio and television productions, a growing presence in the digital media as well as a large youth music network for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, the MDR makes an important contribution to the cultivation and further development of the rich musical landscape of Central Germany.

Minimum Professional Requirements:

• Completed university or conservatory degree in singing, or equivalent qualification

• Experience in ensemble singing

• Sight-reading proficiency

• Accent-free command of the German language
