The Department of Music at Midwestern State University, a NASM accredited institution, invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor (Director of Choral Activities) to begin August 2025. This is a nine-month visiting appointment.

This is an ideal position for a highly-motivated artist, educator, and leader seeking opportunities to transform and grow the music unit, adding to the efforts of existing faculty. We believe in preparing students to become successful professionals in the local and global context.

A doctorate of music is required, with a specialization in choral conducting and/or vocal performance preferred. ABD with significant progress toward completion of the dissertation considered at rank of Instructor.
