UW is seeking a Visiting Asst Professor - Associate Director of Choral Activities/Music Education - Music.

JOB PURPOSE:

Serve as Associate Director of Choral Activities/Music Education. This is a one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate required at the time of appointment August 2022.

Candidate must possess a strong background in choral conducting and music education and provide evidence of recent successful public school teaching.

Excellent musician with outstanding rehearsal and teaching technique and a comprehensive understanding of the vocal mechanism.

Candidate should share the department's vision for a student-centered culture and positive learning environment.

Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
