Charleston Light Opera Guild

Paradise Park The Musical is based on the cult classic film of the same name by acclaimed West Virginia filmmaker and film director Daniel Boyd. The musical has been adapted for the stage by Boyd and Mountain Stage's own Larry Groce who has written a new and extensive score.

Auditions will be held as follows:

November 15

6:00pm - Ages 12-15 (including small 12 year olds to play Skipper and Wesley Jr.)

7:00pm - Ages 15-Adults (Singing and reading; prepare a musical selection and bring sheet music for the Guild accompanist; reading material will be provided)

November 16 at 7:00pm - Ages 15-adult, dancing - BE PROMPT! (Musical theatre dance combinations will be taught; dress to dance)

NOTE: Based on present health conditions in Kanawha County and WV and current guidance by the CDC, all those auditioning must show proof of being fully Covid vaccinated to be considered. Masks are required.
