Description
The Department of Music at the University of North Dakota (UND) is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor with a specialization in voice. The position begins August 16, 2022 and is contingent upon availability of funding.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will receive a contract that allocates 60% effort to instruction, 30% to research/creative activity, and 10% to service. All faculty are expected to contribute service within the department, college, university, and community and to participate in the department’s recruitment and outreach initiatives. Minimum Requirements
DMA in Music completed by August 15, 2022.
Successful completion of criminal history records check.
Preferred Requirements:
Tenor, baritone, or bass voice specialty.
Experience teaching music at the collegiate level.
Experience in classical and musical theatre styles.
Demonstrated experience of performing at a high level.
Demonstrated experience with recruiting efforts.
Experience in music direction for a musical.
Piano proficiency.
