The Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music at Georgia Southern University is seeking a highly skilled and accomplished individual to serve as the Georgia Southern Pianist, Vocal Coach, Music Director, and Conductor. The Music Director requires a proven record of excellence as a collaborative pianist, opera/musical theatre coach, and conductor at the collegiate, national, or international level.

Educational Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in collaborative piano, conducting or similar field

Required Experience

* One (1) or more years of related experience

* Evidence of an established or emerging national profile with a minimum of two years' (2) professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Demonstrated accomplishments in performance as a collaborative pianist

* Coaching of operatic and vocal repertoire

* Coaching of musical theatre repertoire

* Demonstrated accomplishments as a conductor of operatic and/or musical theatre repertoire

* Successful teaching at the university/young artist level.
