International Competition for Opera Singers

The Municipality of Padua has announced the 30th edition of the International Singing Competition Iris Adami Corradetti, dedicated to the memory of the illustrious milanese soprano, but adopted by Padova.

The competition will take place from 5 to 10 October 2021, at Teatro Verdi in Padua.

Opera singers, up to 35 years of every nationality can participate in the competition.

AWARDS

1st prize: € 7,000

2nd prize: € 5,000

3rd prize: € 3,000

The competition Iris Adami Corradetti is collaborating with Operabase, the largest global operatic database.

In a bid to support budding artists participating in this competition, Operabase is offering a 25% discount on Pro Artist subscriptions for all artists who make it through to the semi-final round. The discount is only applicable on annual subscription payments.

Winners will receive a free Pro Artist annual subscription.

Application

Applications can be done on the website concorsocorradetti.comune.padova.it from Monday 7th June 2021 until Tuesday 28th September 2021, 24:00 at the latest, using the appropriate form of registration and enclosing the documentation required in the announcement.

Incomplete or wrong applications are excluded.
