Univ of South Carolina is accepting applications for an Instructor of Voice (Musical Theatre).

Teaching duties will primarily include applied instruction in all eras of musical theatre as well as a musical theatre workshop class. Classical repertoire and technique are also a part of the studio training. Additional courses may be offered, dependent on the candidate’s area of expertise. The position will collaborate with other faculty to continue to build and foster voice training for the musical theatre singer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for remaining current in the field with regard to evolving styles, techniques, and voice pedagogy. Participation in student recruitment and other faculty activities is expected.

Required Education and Experience

* Master of Music Degree with requisite professional experience is required.

* A minimum of two years teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.

* A comprehensive knowledge of musical theatre repertoire and a collaborative work style are required.
