TThe Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Choral Conducting. The successful candidate will be an excellent conductor, pedagogue, and educator, willing and able to work in concert with colleagues to sustain an innovative ensemble program dedicated to students. Pacific’s ensembles program is a pool-based approach that engages music majors in roughly 12- 15 focused hours of rehearsal before a concert cycle (appropriate to the repertoire).

Minimum Qualifications

MM in choral conducting or equivalent professional experience.
