Theater Bonn

The Theater Bonn is looking for an opera chorus member starting with the season 2022/2023 - pre-rehearsals by appointment starting in May 2022:

2nd bass (m/d)

The theater, which is run as a quasi-self-operated institution of the Federal City of Bonn, employs approximately 400 people in the opera and drama divisions. Three different stages - opera house, playhouse and workshop stage - are regularly used; in addition, the theater has various rehearsal rooms and internationally renowned theater workshops.

In addition to new productions and revivals of operas and plays, the Theater der Bundesstadt Bonn offers special programs for schoolchildren, students, children and families, which form the basis of the Portal network. Guest series, such as the popular highlights of international dance or the established event series Quatsch keine Oper! round out the theater's offerings. Thus, with a total of approximately 400 events per year, it makes a significant contribution to the cultural life of the city and the region.

The employment relationship is based on the regulations of the NV Bühne, SR Chor. The salary is calculated according to salary class 1a.

We are looking for a personality with

- completed vocal studies

- experience in ensemble singing

- the ability to sight-read flawlessly

- command of the German language

Applicants will be personally invited to an audition separately.

For this, please bring 5 arias in 3 different languages (at least one in German and Italian) and one song. The choir positions will be announced with the invitation to the audition.
