Audition requirements:

The audition consists of two parts. Please prepare part A and part B:

A. An art song or an aria (without recitative) – approx. 2 min

As a solo piece, please choose a work that is appropriate to your singing ability and that highlights your singing qualities in the best possible way. Please inform the project management of the selected piece by email by October 25th at the latest and bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompaniment. You can also sing “An die Musik” or “Ständchen” both by Franz Schubert.

B. Mandatory piece:

"Domine Jesu Christe" from Mozart's Requiem in the Bärenreiter edition (Süßmayr version)

C. Vocal exercises:

Soprano/Tenor: Particular attention is paid to easy vocalization at the top.

Alto/Bass: Particular attention is paid to the coloring of the voice and the transition from head to chest voice.
