Hale Centre Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Auditions will be by video submission only and will be done via the following link HERE . Please have your video ready BEFORE you sign up. All video submissions will be due by 10pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Videos submitted after 10pm will not be accepted.

Except for the role of Scrooge, all roles are open and will be double cast. We are looking for a diverse cast of actors, singers, dancers and children. For this production we will not be able to offer any AEA contracts.

FOR YOUR VIDEO: Please slate at the beginning of your video and tell us your name. Please include 16 bars of a song in the style of the show (no pop music & it doesn’t need to be a Christmas song) please use accompaniment, no acapella. We need each auditioner to also prepare a selected line from the show in an authentic British and/or Cockney accent. View lines on website. You may only submit ONE video, so please make sure it includes the song AND the reading line.
