For the European tour of FLASHDANCE we are looking for musical performers of different ethnic backgrounds with excellent singing, acting and dancing skills for all leading roles and the ensemble.

Female: Rock-Pop Soprano / Mezzo-Soprano / Alto

Male: Rock-Pop Tenor / Baritenor / Baritone

Playing age: 20 to 39 years

Accent-free German is required for all positions.

Performances and rehearsals / period of engagement: 16.10.2021 to 15.01.2022

Auditions: 27.03.2021 and 28.03.2021 in the Rhine-Main area

FLASHDANCE - The cult film finally on the big stage

offMUSICAL presents the musical hit FLASHDANCE in a new production on a big tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The Story

FLASHDANCE tells the incomparable story of Alex Owens, a young woman from Pittsburgh. During the day she works in a steel mill and at night as a dancer in a bar. But in truth, she dreams of becoming a professional dancer. When Alex falls in love with her boss Nick Hurley, doors that were previously closed open and she gets the opportunity of a lifetime - An audition at the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy. However, she is soon confronted with the darker side of her venture and must make a decision - Does she continue to live her previous life or does she fight for her dream?
