The Joy In Singing 2022 International Art Song Competition

The Joy In Singing International Art Song Competition application period is LIVE!

The Joy In Singing Debut Artist Award winner receives $3000 cash

and a Debut recital at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in early 2023 (Date TBD).

Finalists each receive $500.

Eligibility:

There is no age limit.

Applicants may not have made a debut recital in any major New York City venue. Previous Joy In Singing Award winners may not apply.

Preliminary rounds take place September 11, 12, 13, 16, 17 2022 by appointment.

Semifinals take place the week of October 10, 2022

Finals take place the first week of November, 2022.

The Finals are open to the public, free of charge.

Auditions are live only, and scheduled in the order completed applications are received.
