Contract: full-time, permanent

Start date: July 2026

Requirements:

- completed a higher education degree

- be able to communicate in one of our working languages - Swedish and English

- professional stage experience will be considered merititus

Audition repertoire:

Round 1:

- solo

* Wagner: Weiche, Wotan, weiche (Das Rheingold)

OR

* Verdi: Re dell’abisso, affrettati (Un ballo in maschera)

- chorus - 1–2 pieces to be performed with piano. The sheet music will be sent to you with the invitation to audition.

Round 2:

- solo (the arias you did not sing for Round 1)

* Wagner: Weiche, Wotan, weiche (Das Rheingold)

OR

* Verdi: Re dell’abisso, affrettati (Un ballo in maschera)

- An aria of free choice

- chorus - 1–2 pieces to be performed with piano. The sheet music will be sent to you with the invitation to audition. Pieces will be performed together with members of the opera chorus.

- a shorter sight-reading/aural test with instructions from the Chorus Master. You will receive the music from the Chorus Master during the audition day if you are accepted to round 2

- basic acting and choreography skills will be tested in collaboration with the Opera staff directors.
