Loraine Sims is Edith Killgore, Kirkpatrick Professor of Voice, at Louisiana State University where she teaches Voice and Vocal Pedagogy. Recent performances include “Comedy in Song: Humorous Art Songs in English” at the International Congress of Voice Teachers (ICVT) in Stockholm, which she also presented at the National NATS Conference. In Chicago. Professional activities include many presentations and publications on the topic of working with transgender and non-binary singers. She enjoys giving master classes and her students have been winners in national and regional competitions and many have been selected for national and international young artist programs.
