In this session, singers will explore methods to navigate performance nerves, maintain concentration, and recover from missteps.

Katherine Parker is Classical Voice Advisor, musical theatre voice faculty and Artist Director of Nevada Chamber Opera at University of Nevada, Reno. She previously taught at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Salem State University. She has been a clinician at National Association Teachers of Singing, Boston Conservatory Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop, and Massachusetts and Nevada Music Educators Association. Her recent soloist performances include the LinkUp Carnegie Hall series with the Reno Philharmonic, Reno Chamber Orchestra, International Clarinet Association, and NEO Voice Festival. She holds a MM in Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and is currently completing her DMA at UNR.
