Oratorio Arias Masterclass

At every level, too few singers take advantage of the wonderful solos found in oratorio repertoire.In this class  we will discuss aria  selection, audition tactics, and strategies for developing a presence in the oratorio field. (*oratorio arias only for this masterclass, please)

Distinguished American tenor Stanford Olsen made his professional oratorio debut while still an undergraduate, and  has over 1000 oratorio and concert performances with the world’s top conductors and orchestras to his credit. He now leads workshops at universities and summer training programs throughout the country on how singers can successfully incorporate oratorio selections into their audition repertoire, encouraging and mentoring young artists at every level who have interest in the  advantages of oratorio repertoire in successful auditions, and desire to create  an income stream  performing concert and oratorio repertoire.
