Jennifer Kay and Marc Webster
Mezzo-soprano Jennifer Kay has been a member of the Ithaca College Faculty since 2007. Her teaching style focuses on healthy singing strategies that empower the student performer to reach their individual artistic goals. She loves all genres of vocal music and is especially interested in language study and discovering diverse repertoire. Her students can be found in regional venues and on Broadway. Jennifer is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). She recently served as President for the NATS Central New York Finger Lakes chapter and has held other executive board positions over the last decade. She is committed to building community and sharing resources amongst voice teachers. Jennifer holds the DMA and MM from the Boston University College of Fine Arts, and a BM in performance and education from Ithaca College. Bass Marc Webster joined the voice faculty in the School of Music, Theater and Dance at Ithaca College in 2010 where his studio graduates are currently singing in professional venues across the country. As a master teacher and recitalist, Mr. Webster has given recent masterclass and recital performances at Boston University, Songe d'été en Musique in Quebec, Baldwin Wallace Conservatory, DePaul University School of Music, Wake Forest University, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Texas at Brownsville, Sam Houston State University, Binghamton University, University of Southern Mississippi, Eastern Kentucky University, Cornell University, and University of Incarnate Word. Recent concert, opera and oratorio performances for Mr. Webster include soloist engagements throughout the United States and as a guest artist at summer festivals in Canada and Italy.

Mr. Webster holds graduate degrees from Juilliard and Eastman and completed his opera apprentice training at the Merola Studio at San Francisco Opera, Seattle Opera Studio, Florida Grand Opera Studio and as a Filene Artist at Wolf Trap Opera.
