More than $5,000,000 of university and summer program scholarships will be offered to Competition participants.

Scholarships

If have interest in a University Scholarship, visit the Expo Hall on Saturday or Sunday, 1:00 – 5:00 pm.

Pick up yellow Scholarship Interest Cards at the Convention Registration Desk.

Fill out the card and give it to any school or program you are interested in. Give out as many cards as you want.

Scholarship winners will be announced on Monday, May 26 at 6:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom.

Binghamton University

Scholarship Details: 
One full New York State scholarship to the Master of Music in Opera degree program at Binghamton University. The scholarship is to begin this Fall 2025 and is renewable if maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
-OR- One 16,400. Out of state scholarship to the Master of Music in Opera degree program at Binghamton University. ( Full out of state tuition for the academic year is $24,500). The scholarship is to begin this Fall 2025 and is renewable if maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Broadway Artists Alliance

Scholarship Details: 
Up to $1,000 tuition credit to be use by the winner towards one of Broadway Artists Alliance's 2025-2026 BAA College and/or Professional Programs.

California Institute of the Arts

Scholarship Details:
One Music Undergraduate Merit Scholarship of up to 25,000/year
One Music Graduate Merit Scholarship of up to 10,000/year

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
Undergraduate Merit Scholarship: Students must be a rising high school senior to be eligible for this scholarship. They must apply and be accepted into the Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts to officially receive this scholarship. Their studies must begin in Fall of 2026 as a full-time student.

Graduate Merit Scholarship: Students must be entering their final year of their undergraduate studies or have already received a bachelor's degree. They must apply and be accepted into the Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts to officially receive this scholarship. Their studies must begin in Fall of 2026 as a full-time student.

2 - $10,000 (Four Year Renewable) Scholarship to Tenor/Baritone/Bass

Juniors must complete admissions application to Florida Gulf Coast University and application to the Bower School of Music by January 2026. They will need to secure housing deposit at the same time (earlier is impearative).

Songe d'été en musique Summer Vocal Studio Program in Quiebec, Canada. Dates: July 29 - August 11.

Scholarship Details:
Three scholarships to the 2025 Song déte en musique Vocal Studio Program this summer. The scholarship is reflected by the generous support of sponsors, partners and individuals of the Song d'été Festival. The total cost of the two week program including lodging is 1350. Canadian or approximately 970. in US funds. Participants are responsible for travel and most meals.

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
For undergraduate, graduate and pre-professional singers. Submit inquiries and 2 contrasting recordings (opera or art song) to Thomas Goodheart (tgoodheart@binghamton.edu), Director of the Vocal Studio Program. Singers will be chosen at the Classical Singer Convention or no later than June 1, 2025.

University of Houston, Moores School of Music

Scholarship Details:
2 - $4000 minimum merit award PLUS waiver of out-of-state tuition fees, bringing total annual tuition+fees to under $10,000 per year.

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
Singers must apply by the 12/1/15 priority date for Fall, 2026 matriculation (undergraduate or graduate), perform a live audition at the University in February or March, and meet all university and school requirements for admission. If granted admission, the merit award will be a minimum of $4000 annually, and also include a tuition waiver for out-of-state residents. Annual in-state tuition ranges from $10,000-14,000 depending on degree.
