Scholarship Awards

The following schools will be offering scholarship awards and offers at the 2022 CS Music Convention Awards Concert on Monday, May 30 at 7:30 pm at the Chicago Grand Sheraton Hotel. Schools and programs will select the recipients from the 2022 Competition participant list.

Scholarship Details:
First place winners : $1,850; Second Place winners: $1,000; Third Place winners: $500; All the participants: $250 toward the AAMS ISMI Todi, Italy tuition

Need to apply to receive the scholarship.

Scholarship Details:
Young Artist/Emerging Professional Division – $4,000
University Division- $3,000

These scholarships are applied toward the total cost of our tuition and are not cash awards. Awards may be applied toward attendance to AIMS in 2023.

Scholarship Details:
One $6,000/year renewable tuition scholarship

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
High school junior or senior, must apply and be accepted at the university, and successfully audition in person or by video.

*Converse University will not be at the Awards Concert. CS Music will select a recipient from the 2nd Round or Semifinal round participants. You must be present at the Awards Concert to be eligible for this scholarship award.


Scholarship Details:
Up to four $10,000/year renewable merit scholarships applied toward Eastman School of Music tuition (limit one per student).

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
Scholarships will be awarded pending successful completion of Eastman’s application process and admission to the School. This is a merit-based scholarship, renewable for four years of undergraduate study, provided the student maintains good academic standing (a 3.0 gpa).

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
Rising seniors must apply and be accepted to the university. Awards will be based on participation in our masterclass.

Three $4,000/year renewable TUITION scholarships

Scholarship Details:
Up to ten $32,000/year renewable tuition scholarships

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
Students must apply and receive admission to Lawrence University during senior year of high school in order to officially receive the scholarship awarded during the CS Music Convention. The CS Vocal Competition may be used as the official college music audition if heard by a conservatory voice faculty member.

Scholarship Details:
$15,000/year-renewable for 2 year degree program or $1,000 for 4 week summer intensive programs.

Criteria and/or Stipulations:
Students must be accepted to the program academically for the scholarship to be valid. Scholarships valid for 1 calendar year. For the summer scholarship- must be 16 years old by Summer 2022. For the 2 year degree program must be a current or rising senior and graduate HS by June 2023.

Student must apply and be accepted to the university. Highest placed Tenor and a singer chosen from the SFCM masterclass at the Convention.
