Soprano Katherine Parker is the Vocal Coordinator, Classical Voice Advisor, and Artistic Director of Nevada Opera Theatre at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Music. She previously held faculty positions at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Salem State University. She has presented at conferences including Classical Singer, NATS, Boston Conservatory Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop, MA and NVMEA. Recent performances include soloist engagements with Reno Philharmonic, Reno Chamber Orchestra, International Clarinet Association, and Boston New Opera and Musical Theatre Initiative. She holds a MM in Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, DMA in Vocal Performance from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is a University of Utah, SVI recognized vocologist.
