Bio

Ngoc Thanh Thanh "Hannah" Do is a Vietnamese soprano and junior at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School, where she studies in the Vocal Performance Program with Melyssa Rice. She has been accepted into several top pre-college programs, including the Boston University Tanglewood Institute where she studies with Professor Penelope Bitzas and participates in ensembles.

Hannah has earned recognition at the Classical Singer Convention, NATS competitions, Asia Arts Festival, The Music Singapore International Competition and other national and international vocal competition. Prior to singing, she has been a violinist for 7 years, trained at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music Pre-college program, participating in multiple ensembles such as Saigon Catholic Orchestra,...

In addition to music, Hannah is passionate about political science. She serves in leadership roles with the Minnesota YMCA Model United Nations and Youth in Government, and is currently conducting academic research on civic education and youth engagement.
