Bio

Tamsanqa Tylor Lamani is a South African-born tenor and award-winning artist, recognized for his performances across South Africa and Europe. Notable roles include Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Alfredo (La Traviata), Tebaldo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). He has performed with Cape Town Opera, English Touring Opera, and Barefoot Opera, among others, and appeared as a soloist in Messiah and Requiem with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. Upcoming engagements include Hamlet at Buxton International Festival and L’elisir d’amore with English Touring Opera.
