Amber Peters

Amber Peters is a Lyric Coloratura soprano from beautiful Southern California. She holds a Master of Music degree from California Baptist University, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University, Fullerton. Opera roles she has studied/performed include Fiordiligi, Mimi, Donna Anna, and Violetta, and in operetta Mabel, Josephine, and Yum-Yum. Amber has appeared as a concert soloist with a number of organizations in SoCal in such works as Carmina Burana, Messiah, and many others. Amber also loves musical theatre, and performed the leading role in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang most recently. Jazz is another huge interest of hers, and Amber is currently a lead singer with two local big bands. Singing in church has been her lifelong calling, and in addition to singing on her church’s praise team, Amber has directed the choir for a number of years. Finally, she also has a passion for teaching voice. For just under ten years, she was an adjunct voice professor at Cal Baptist University, and currently teaches lessons after school at Southlands Christian Schools in Rowland Heights.
