Bio

Sibel Ayyildiz is a classical mezzo-soprano from New York City. She attends Special Music School High School and has been singing for more than 10 years. In addition to singing in various acclaimed choirs, such as the Young People’s Chorus of NYC and the National Children’s Chorus, she performs lead roles in Lincoln Center Theater’s musicals. She has performed in several of New York City’s well-known concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall, and the United Palace. She has also performed in NYC’s most well-known churches, including Trinity Church and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Sibel is passionate about singing. When she sings, she feels as if she is flying with no limits. She feels free! Sibel loves music because it brings her together with so many extraordinary people from all around the world to create a single sound. From singing in more than 5 choirs to singing solo with a pianist, Sibel believes that music creates a unique and powerful experience. Sibel is very excited to be attending the CSMusic Convention!
