Bio

Zach Walz is an up-and-coming singer and variety entertainer. A graduate from the University of Northern Colorado, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, specializing in vocal music. Some of his most notable roles include Father Chapelle and the Mayor of Leadville (The Ballad of Baby Doe), Harry Beaton (Brigadoon), Jimmy (No, No, Nanette), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Ecclitico (Il Mondo della Luna), the Businessman (The Little Prince), and the Foreman (Trial by Jury); as well as covering the roles of Baron Pictordu (Cendrillon), John Brooke (Little Women), and Antonio (Le Nozze di Figaro). He has also sung with the German company Opera Classica Europa in their 2018 summer production of Carmen. He is a regular performer with Loveland Opera Theatre and Opera Fort Collins. Mr Walz currently serves as the band director at Ridgeview Classical Schools in Fort Collins.
