Bio

Benjamin Bennett is a vocal performance major at Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Music expected in the Spring of 2026. As a soloist with the Corvallis youth orchestra, Ben began what he hopes to be a rich journey on the stage. He performed the role of Falke in Oregon State University's production of Fledermaus. He has had much success in NATS competitions in the past. He has competed in Both Classical and Musical theatre categories and most notably won first place in the Musical Theatre category at the regional level in 2022. His most recent competition was the International Classical Singer Convention held in Washington D.C, he competed in both Classical and Musical theatre categories and was a semifinalist for MT in 2024. Some of Ben’s most notable roles include playing Count Almaviva in scenes from Barber of Seville at Oregon State University, Edgardo in scenes from Lucia di Lammermoor at Oregon State University, and performing the aria Il Mio Tesoro, in scenes from Don Giovanni also at Oregon State. Ben had the great honor of collaborating with the OSU Guitar Ensemble, where he performed in a unique mashup of songs from the iconic musical Oklahoma.
