Bio

Elizabeth is a freshman History and English major and Music minor at the University of Dallas. Choral music has been a major part of her life since middle school. She attended Saint Agnes School in St. Paul, MN, a historic high school with a renowned choral program, where she participated in the Concert Chorale throughout high school, as well as being accepted into the auditioned Madrigal Singers her sophomore year. She also studied voice under composer and opera singer Stephen Schmall from 2019-2023. She auditioned for and was selected for the MMEA All-State Choir for both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, of which she participated in the 2022-23 season singing second soprano in the Soprano-Alto Choir under the direction of Dr. Rosephanye Powell. In 2022, she received a superior rating at the MSHSL Solo and Ensemble Competition, and in 2023 she received a superior rating, a perfect score, and the "best in site" award at the same competition. Although her specialty is classical music, she also has a love for musical theater, and played the lead role of Connie Lane in her high school's musical "Good News" in the spring of 2023. Currently she sings in the UD Chorale at her college and continues to study voice under Sharon Gross.
