
Andy Li, a baritone from Dallas, Texas, is a senior and honor choir member at St. Mark’s School of Texas. He began singing at age six and has developed a deep passion for music, earning early recognition with a Bronze Medal from the Royal School of Church Music in 2019 and as a finalist in the Hal Leonard Vocal Competition in 2020.
He was selected for the TPSMEA (Texas Private School Music Educators Association) All-State Choir in 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2025, Andy won 1st place in the Classical Repertoire category of the American Protégé International Vocal Competition, earning an opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, and also placed 1st in the Musical Theatre category at DFW NATS. That same year, he received the Encouragement Award at the Schmidt Vocal Competition, Texas Region, and advanced to the semifinals of the Richard Miller Classical Voice Competition for High School Students, further highlighting his growing recognition in the classical singing community.
In the summer of 2024, Andy participated in the International Lyric Academy in Vicenza, Italy, performing in opera scenes and ensemble roles for Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. He was also selected to attend Northwestern University’s 2025 Intensive Vocal Performance Seminar at the Bienen School of Music, continuing his classical training alongside other top high school vocalists.
Beyond his competitive achievements, Andy regularly sings at local senior centers and performs at community events, using his musical talents to enrich and give back to his community.
