Andy Li, a baritone from Dallas, Texas, is a junior and honor choir member at St. Mark’s School of Texas. He began singing at age 8 and later discovered a deep passion for music. In 2019, Andy earned a Bronze Medal from the Royal School of Church Music, and in 2020, he was recognized as a finalist in the Hal Leonard Vocal Competition.
He was selected for the TPSMEA (Texas Private School Music Educators Association) All-State Choir in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, Andy won 1st place in the Classical Repertoire category of the American Protégé International Vocal Competition, earning him another opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. That same year, he also placed 1st in the Musical Theatre category at DFW NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing).
In the summer of 2024, Andy participated in the International Lyric Academy in Vicenza, Italy, performing in opera scenes and ensemble roles for Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. He also got selected to attend Northwestern University’s 2025 Intensive Vocal Performance Seminar with the Bienen School of Music, where he will continue his classical training alongside other top high school vocalists.
Beyond his competitive achievements, Andy regularly sings at local senior centers and performs at community events. He enjoys using his musical talents to give back to his community.
