Bio

I am a baritone and former soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, where I performed from 2000 to 2017. My professional career spans more than two decades and includes extensive experience in leading baritone roles from the Italian, Russian, and French operatic repertoire.

I graduated from GITIS (Russian Academy of Theatre Arts) in Moscow and went on to perform as a soloist with major opera companies, including the Bolshoi Theatre and Novaya Opera in Moscow. My repertoire includes roles in operas by Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Offenbach, Bizet, and Richard Strauss. Among the highlights of my career are international performances in Germany, Japan, South Korea, Israel, and the United States, as well as collaboration with Maestro Mstislav Rostropovich.

Since 2009, I have also appeared as a guest soloist with the Russian State Academic Symphonic Cappella, performing a wide range of dramatic and lyric baritone roles in both concert and staged formats. In addition to opera performances, I regularly participate in symphonic and chamber concerts.

Israel and Israeli Opera hold a special place in my artistic life, where I have performed in concerts and projects that value direct emotional connection with the audience.
