Born into a vibrant Caribbean family from the island of Trinidad and Tobago, Kidist Daniel grew up surrounded by music. With singers and musicians throughout her family, it was only natural that she found her voice early—beginning to sing at just 8 years old and pursuing formal vocal training by the age of 14.
As a young performer, she showcased her talent in contests like the McDonald’s Talent Show and Macy’s Teen Pageant, while also singing in school musicals and her church choir. Her passion and dedication earned her a music scholarship to Georgia State University, where she studied Music Management and minored in Voice. During her college years, she performed with the GSU Choral Union, appeared in Don Giovanni, and brought her soulful sound to the GSU Gospel Choir.
Her career highlights include serving as the featured soloist with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra in 2018, performing “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas,” and singing the U.S. National Anthem for the Atlanta Special Olympics in 2019.
Since graduating, Kidist has expanded her artistry—managing artists, writing original music, and teaching vocal techniques to the next generation of singers. With a lifelong dream of performing on Broadway, she continues to hone her craft and share her voice, inspired by her rich musical heritage and love for storytelling through song.
