Bio

I am an actor first, a performer second, and a singer third. I believe I need to know what I am singing about to relay the message of my performance through song. I enjoy academicals as well and hope to blend my love for the arts and academics in the future.

I began performing when I was 8 years-old in a community production of A Christmas Carol (ACC) as Tiny Tim. I have performed in both community and regional productions of ACC as Tiny Tim, Peter, and The Ghost of Christmas Past. My first professional performance was at the age of 10 with back to back opportunities at North Shore Music Theater (Les Miserables, A Christmas Carol). I have performed in many professional theaters, community theaters, Cabarets, Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, and schools.

My favorite opportunities include the Boston Symphony Orchester (Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream https://www.bso.org/u-v-w/antonio-weissinger-actor.aspx), Michael (Billy Elliot at OSTC), Major General (Pirates of Penzance at Hopkinton High School), Hamlet (Hamlet at Hopkinton Middle School), and more. You can find my resume at https://www.antonioweissinger.com/

Also, I have competed in several vocal competitions with the following honors:

Classical Singer Boston: Second Round 2020 and earlier years

Regional NATS NE (First place 2020)

Rhode Island NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) First Place Youth Classical Division, previous year

Rhode Island NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Second Place Musical Theatre Division, previous year

Boston NATS Honorable Mention, previous year

Central Districts of Massachusetts Music Educators' voice performance (in Middle and High School), current and previous

Hopkinton High School Voice Scholarship (3 years), current

Hopkinton Middle and High School Drama and Vocal Awards (current and year)

I have had many people who have supported my love for the arts and thank them for their much-appreciated guidance.

Feel free to me for any additional questions.

Thank you for reading about me!
