Victoria Popritkin is a soprano pursuing her Masters in Opera Performance at Binghamton University, where she performed the title role of Suor Angelica in Puccini's Suor Angelica. Victoria’s current season includes First Lady in Mozart’s Magic Flute and Countess Ceprano in Verdi’s Rigoletto with Tri-Cities Opera, and Adele in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus with Binghamton University. This summer she will be performing as Hannah Glawari in Lehar’s The Merry Widow as an Emerging Artist at Opera in the Ozarks. Previous operatic roles include Cupid in Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld and Papagena in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. She pursued additional language study with the Classic Lyric Arts Italian and French programs and Accademia Vocale Lorenzo Malfatti in Lucca, Italy. Additionally, Victoria was a Songfest Young Artist and sang at the Songe d'été en Musique Festival in Québec, Canada. Victoria won a 2025 Laffont Competition Indiana District Encouragement Award, 3rd at the 2024 Classical Singer Competition Young Artist Division, won the 2023 Binghamton Concerto Competition, and received the ThreeArts Women in Arts scholarship. Victoria graduated summa cum laude with degrees in vocal performance and neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. In her freetime, she can be found painting and decorating her scores.
