Alana Hogan is a senior musical theatre major at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School and is honored to have been selected as the Tampa Oratorio Singers High School Scholarship Recipient. In addition to studying musical theatre at her high school, she studies the Bel Canto technique with Roseann Tota at Tota Music and Theatre Conservatory. Alana earned 2nd place in the St. Petersburg Opera Guild High School Competition in February 2023. Her Superior graded performance was selected to be in the Honors Recital at the Florida Vocal Association Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessment at both the district and state levels. Additionally, she is a CS Music International Grand Prix Semi-Finalist and a top ten Florida Semi-Finalist in the Schmidt Vocal Arts Competition. You may have seen her as Lucille Frank in Parade, earning her a Broadway Star of the Future nomination for Best Actress in a Musical, as Lady Olivia in Twelfth Night, Cosette in Les Miserables, Julia Sullivan in The Wedding Singer, or in Fugitive Songs, a role earning her a Best Actress in a One-Act Award.
