Bio

Jonathan Mildner, baritone, is in the second year of his Master's degree in opera performance at the Purchase Conservatory of Music, where he studies with soprano Bonnie Hamilton. Last year, he appeared as Madame de la Haltière in Massenet’s Cendrillon, as Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, and as Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro; this year, he appears as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, as Harlekin in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, and as Peter in Hänsel und Gretel. His concert experience includes Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, cond. Alejandro Zuleta; Stravinsky's Requiem Canticles, Mozart's Requiem, and Handel's Ester, cond. James Bagwell; and a 2019 fundraiser concert for the Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem, held by the Order of Maltas. He sings regularly at the Union Church of Pocantico Hills, where he has been a soloist and member of the choir since December 2019. Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts at Bard College in 2018, where he studied with tenor Rufus Müller.
