Bio

Praised in the Baltimore Sun for her “impressive voice”, soprano Laura Whittenberger was named one of Baltimore’s Must-See Musicians by Baltimore Style magazine. Laura sings in concert, opera and musical theater performances across the country. Recent roles: Cinderella in Into the Woods with Clear Space Theater (DE), Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance at Theater at Monmouth (ME), Pauline in La Vie Parisienne with Long Island Opera (NY), Magnolia u/s in Show Boat at Broadway Palm/Gulf Coast Symphony (FL). Concert/recording highlights: a series of French recitals as a soprano/harp duo with harpist Jacqueline Pollauf, and the release of a new album of Yeats-inspired Irish songs by R. Driver, Words that Sing in the Night.
