Bio

Tim Russell [b: Clinton, CT] (he/him) holds a Master’s Degree in Music for Vocal Performance and an Advanced Certificate of Vocal Pedagogy from NYU Steinhardt. He also received a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UConn. He is an Estill Voice International Master Trainer.

Tim sings all over the country and abroad with The Flyboys, a four part harmony group, performing with the iconic Glenn Miller Orchestra and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. He is also the lead singer in the funk/rock band, The Ninth, whose full length album Olympic Dream/Nightmare and EP The Answer is available on Spotify. He's a proud member of Actor's Equity.

Tim is currently on the voice faculty at Cap 21/Molloy College in the Theater Arts program. He is also a Vocal Tech Coach at MTCA. Other guest and adjunct teaching credits include New York University, the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theater (PCMT) at the New York Film Academy (NYFA), the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Applause Performing Arts School, and Wickham Vocal Studios (NYC). @thetimrussell
