Carlee Elsner, soprano, will attend Rice University and study Vocal Performance under Professor Nova Thomas. Carlee graduated from Olathe Northwest High School in 2022 as a Kansas State Scholar and received an academic letter for 4 years on Principal’s Honor Roll. In her solo debut with orchestra, Carlee performed with the Topeka Symphony as the 2022 Young Artist Winner. She is an 11-year member of Allegro Choirs of Kansas City, 4-year All-State Choir member, and received I ratings at state solo competition for 4 years She is the 2022 Shooting Stars Winner, Classical Singer Semi-Finalist (2021 and 2022), NATS semi-finalist (2021), and West Central NATS winner (2021 and 2022). She is a member of the NHS, Rho Kappa Honor Society, and Tri-M. She loves traveling and is an accomplished equestrian.
