Bio

Olivia Xia is a sophomore at Rancho Bernardo High School. She began her singing journey with the San Diego Children's Choir and has continued to study voice with mezzo-soprano, Hiroko Yoshinaga. Additionally, Olivia has also studied with esteemed professors at the Interlochen Arts Camp Intensive (2025), as well as the Juilliard Summer Voice Program (2025).

This summer, Olivia placed 1st at NATS National Finals in Philadelphia in the Lower High School category. She has partaken and placed in many other competitions as well, including 1st in the NATS San Diego Chapter, Lower High School as of late.

Beyond classical singing, Olivia is also an award-winning pianist and composer, with Fryderyk Chopin being her greatest inspiration. At school, Olivia is a diligent student, taking the most rigorous classes whilst amongst the students of the highest GPA in her class. Furthermore, she is the co-founder of the RBHS club, Harmony for Generations, bringing music to senior homes. Olivia also competes for her school's varsity swim team, as well as for club.
