Bio

A native of New York City, soprano Alison Saporta received her Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance at The University of Utah (2021) under the direction of Kirstin Chávez. Ms. Saporta received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at the Boston Conservatory (2019) under the tutelage of Dr. Kerry Deal.

Recent engagements include performing a Solo Recital with Online Music Guild and Giovanna in Rigoletto with The University of Utah. Ms. Saporta recently participated in the New Era Voice Festival where she also performed in a Master Class for Angel Blue. In addition, she was a masterclass participant for Christine Goerke, Michael Fabiano and Michael Chioldi. Ms. Saporta performed in Angel Blue's Opera Training Studio Online Recital and virtual Holiday Performance.

This past Spring, Ms. Saporta performed in Opera Scenes from Semele as Semele. In the Fall, Ms. Saporta performed as The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors all with University of Utah Opera. In April, Ms. Saporta was a winner of the University of Utah School of Music Concerto Competition. Recent engagements include performing the role of The Voice on the Record in The Consul with Boston Conservatory Opera. In addition, Ms. Saporta has performed as Sister Anne of the Cross in Dialogues des Carmélites, the chorus of Eugene Onegin and assistant directed Dead Man Walking all with Boston Conservatory Opera.

In January 2017, Ms. Saporta was the recipient of an Opera Scholarship for OperaWorks Winter Intensive Advanced Artist Program where she premiered as a soloist in Woman. Ms. Saporta has performed scenes from Die Fledermaus and Die Zauberflöte in Kiefersfelden, Germany with International Performing Arts Institute and was the recipient of an Opera Fellowship for International Performing Arts Institute in July 2018.
