Bio

I was born in Chicago on October 17, 2005. We moved to Torino, Italy in January 2007 and lived there until 2010. My mom being German and my dad being American means that I grew up speaking German, English and Italian (at first). After Italy, we moved to Mexico, then New Jersey and were back in Chicago in 2012. In second grade, my mom signed me up for our local talent show and I won first place singing Maybe from the Annie musical. I was approached by a vocal/piano teacher, who started coaching me and encouraged me to join singing competitions between 2015-2019. In the summer of 2022, I went to the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan for the opera program. Having never sung opera before, I had no idea what to expect. I surprised myself when I realized how passionate I was/am about opera. Since then, I've been a devoted opera singer and enjoy working with two opera coaches weekly. I am fluent in English, German and Spanish.
