Soprano Molly Snodgrass, from Austin, Texas, is a first year Master of Music Student at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, where she studies with Karen Brunssen. Ms. Snodgrass received her bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Amy Burton. At Juilliard, Snodgrass covered “La Sorella Infermiera” in Puccini’s Suor Angelica and “Clerio” in Cavalli’s Erismena. She performed the roles “La Madre di Mariuccia” in Nino Rota’s I Due Timidi and “2nd Cameriera” in Menotti’s Amelia al ballo. Snodgrass also performed in John Musto’s Liederabend at Juilliard performing his song cycle The Book of Uncommon Prayer and was the Soprano Soloist in Handel’s Messiah. Ms. Snodgrass won First Prize at the Bellagrande International Music Competition Voice Division and Bronze Winner overall in 2023. She was the Winner of the Gilbert and Sullivan Competition in 2022. Snodgrass has attended prestigious programs such as Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy and is had her role debut as Zerlina in Don Giovanni by Mozart at Prague Summer Nights last summer.
